Sydney Tap Repairs ensure your taps last longer
When we overhaul a tap, we:
- Shut down the water supply
- Dissassemble the tapware by removing the spindle bodies from the tap housing
- Check the tap seat for cuts and grooves. We cut a new tap seat if necessary.
- Service the spindle by removing the spindle thread from the body and cleaning both parts with steel wool to remove built-up corrosion.
- Install new O-rings
- Lubricate the spindles with quality tap grease and reassemble them
- Reassemble the taps with a new fibre body washer and jumper valve in place
- Turn the water back on and invite you to test the taps
- As usual, we clean up!
By doing your hot and cold taps at the same time, we can save you money by ensuring both have their lifespans renewed.
